Everyone hates change, especially on Facebook. Fortunately the staff of the best Facebook Cover site on the Internet is here to help walk you through the transition.
Step One
Take a deep breath and don’t panic. Repeat after me. It’ll be okay. It’ll be okay.
Step Two
Be aggressive and get the Facebook Timeline profile before Facebook forces you to do it. Trust us, you’ll feel better that you made the choice yourself instead of being bullied into the Timeline profile. To get the Timeline profile, click here and click on the green “get timeline” button.
Step Three
Add a Facebook Cover to your timeline. Don’t be cliche and add a photo from that trip to the Caribbean. Stand out from the crowd by using our Mike Tyson’s Punch Out Facebook Cover, or find a quote that fits your mood from our collection of Facebook Quote Covers.
Step Four
Customize the timeline with your life events. You can add special events to your Facebook Timeline like your birthday, the day you met your significant other, the day moved away to college, and anything else you want to share on your Timeline. The cool thing about it is that you can also attach an image to the event.
Pro tip:
Want some easy likes? Attach this photo to the day you were born on your Timeline.
Step Five
Review your profile and hide anything that you don’t want to be public. If you don’t care what is public, then don’t bother. However, if you don’t want your relatives seeing those pictures of you passed out and covered with marker, then I suggest reviewing your entire Timeline. In case you’re wondering, yes, you should go all the way back to 2006.
To hide anything all you have to do mouseover the pencil icon in the top corner of the Timeline event and click “edit”. Then choose “Hide from Timeline” or “Delete Post…” and the post will no longer be on your Timeline.
Step Six
Profit? Sorry, there is no step six. Just enjoy your new Facebook Timeline profile until Facebook decides that it’s time for another change.
